Tongo Independence Roman Catholic Old Pupils' Association (TIRCOPA) Global

Our Mission

To build a vibrant and inclusive association dedicated to strong networking with each other to achieve desired objectives, empower our old school to achieve the best in its academic pursuit, and respond to our corporate social responsibility to the community and other stakeholders.

 

Targets

  • Building a network of friendly and beneficial relationship with stakeholders (old pupils, staff, present pupils, the catholic diocese, the community, government, environmentalist, the police for safer neighbourhood and other interest groups)

 

  • Working closely with our old school to ensure that that the physical, cognitive, language and PSED (physical, social and emotional development) of pupils are satisfied

 

  • Exploring the services of volunteers locally and overseas for the benefit of the school and community 

 

  • Undertaking performance surveys, encouraging research in education, and other areas

 

  • Encouraging partnership with other organisations sharing similar vision

 

  • Encouraging the participation of subscribers, sponsors and other well-wishers through our welfare support and humility 

 

  • To provide the platform for building a continuous professional development of staff in our old school or otherwise in safeguarding, legal awareness, autism awareness, first aid and other areas for effective service delivery 

 

  • To promote environmental awareness, safer neighbourhood and engage in other development programmes beneficial to the community 

 

  • To maintain a credible image with our stakeholders and ensure that the entire community benefits from our activities 

Vision

To support the right learning environment where pupils in our old school are satisfied with their physical, cognitive, language, personal, social, and emotional development, assist the development efforts of the community, strive to achieve stakeholder confidence, and sustain the operations of the association.

Service: We engage with members of the association near and far, and to foster members' commitment to their old school, community and embark on actions beneficial to all.
